1. MAKING A PURCHASE
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to enable us to complete the order.
You are advised to check the restrictions in size on each item in the measurements section against your current door and if you order a frame then check the brick opening .
We accept credit card payment. Please select the PROTX CARD PAYMENT option for online payments .
We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
2. SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Installation Schedule -
All methods require a signature from the householder,the person accepting the delivery must be over the age of 18 and have the express permission to sign for the goods on behalf of the purchaser .
You must check the door before installation and if you are not happy we will return the door at this point , if you are not available we will assume you are happy with the item and install the goods at this point they form a structural part of your building and are non returnable .
On installation all goods must be inspected and any faults noted on the paperwork and the installer notified . No claims for damages are accepted after the installer has left the installation .
We take the health and safety of our employees very seriously and we will not install a door if the garage is not clear of rubish and goods .
The prices shown are the installed price .
At the bottom of each section is a measurement tab that allows you to check your brick opening against the min / max allowance for the item you are buying , please check this information before buying the door .
Now book your install online and pay for the door and accessories that you would like .
We automatically send you a confirmation email with a receipt .
You must make the garage available for survey normally within a few days of order but we will contact you by telephone to arrange a survey . Surveyors work during the day , if you cannot be available we will generally cancel the sale and refund all of your payment .
Once our surveyor has confirmed the measurments we will then arrange to install the door within 3 weeks from your original purchase date .
Any delays are accepted for any reason including manufacturing delays , illness , breakdowns damages etc.
We will not be liable for any costs incurred by the purchaser whatsoever for lost time if we are unable to install the door on any agreed day,however we will work closely with you to arrange an alternative installation slot .
Weekend installations are not available as standard but can be arranged for a premium cost not included in the original purchase price .
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption we also run on protocol 3 security system . They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20.00% VAT is included in the advertised price .
Any unforseen price increases will be advised before delivery and the customer will have the opportunity to cancel the order and receive a refund of any payments made .
Advertised prices are adjusted daily to ensure our customers always receive the lowest possible price .
In the unlikely event that our surveyor cannot match your door opening with a door we will give you the option to change doors however this may result in a small refund if the option is cheaper or a small charge if the option is more expensive , we may also offer options on fitting .
Before we confirm acceptance of order you will have the option of a full refund , after survey but before fitting you will have the option of a refund less £25.00 surveying costs this only applies if you cancel , if we cancel due to fitting restrictions you will not be charged and will receive a full refund .If we cannot or have not surveyed your job we will issue a full refund .
6. BACK ORDER
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
To claim under the terms of any warranty the customer will need to notify our sales team of the manufacturing fault in writing (including email) and must include the original invoice or order number .
The respective manufacturer will make arrangements to inspect the product and either repair or replace the item. Replacements will be granted on a supply only basis and is at the discretion of the manufacturer .
Terms and conditions of all warranties are available on request.
All products supplied must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines. In addition any warranty supplied may become void if any product is not handled ,stored, painted, maintained or preserved in accordance with instructions supplied.
All goods supplied remain the property of Birmingham Garage Doors and its parent company untill paid for in full .
Birmingham Garage Doors are not be responsible for any injury or loss of any kind to any property or persons arising from the use of any goods or in connection with the installation of any goods.
[Birmingham garage Doors ] does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

All parties submit to the sole jurisdiction of the English Courts.
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximize separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
Unwanted electrical equipment is the fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in a landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.
Under the directive we must allow customers of new electrical items the opportunity to recycle the old electrical item, For instance if you buy a motor then you will be able to send us back your old motor on a like for like basis. You cannot send back another item i.e a garage door , window, another electrical item such as a kettle .
To recycle You must bring the item to us or send us your old WEEE item with proof of purchase of the new item on the outside of the box with the box clearly marked "WEEE Inside". You are liable for postage of the item. We do not offer a collection service and will not collect any item on delivery of a new item for logistical reasons. Alternatively your local recycling center offers a specified area for the correct disposal of WEEE.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
